Medical Geneticist

Sanford Health is currently seeking a Medical Geneticist to join their growing and highly collaborative specialty team at Sanford Children's Hospital in Fargo, ND. The primary area of practice involves general medical genetics, with opportunities to participate in newborn screening and manage children and adults with inborn metabolic disorders. Providers will enjoy a supportive environment backed by the region's largest team of pediatric specialists.

• Located at Sanford Children's Hospital in Fargo, ND
• Current genetics team consists of one medical geneticist specializing in medical genetics and metabolism, eight genetic counselors, two nurse navigators, dietitians, medical assistants, and support staff
• Primary area of practice in general medical genetics, with an opportunity for involvement in newborn screening and management of children and adults with inborn metabolic disorders
• Support from the region's largest team of more than 65 board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists
• Three Sanford Health Medical Center campuses in Fargo/Moorhead area
• State-of-the-art one-million-square-foot medical center opened in 2017, with 302 beds
• Level I Adult Trauma Center supported by AirMed services covering a three-state area

Compensation

• Nationally competitive compensation plan
• Annual compensation of $280,000 for the first two years of the employment contract, plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
• $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 4 years (subject to a contractual agreement specifying all details)
