Medical Front Desk Specialist

Front Office Patient Service Representative (Entry-Level) We are seeking a friendly, customer service-focused individual to join our healthcare team. This role is responsible for supporting daily front office operations while providing outstanding service to patients, providers, and staff in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
• Perform patient registration, intake, and data entry
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations as needed
• Process patient check-out and collect applicable payments
• Assist with scanning, faxing, filing, and maintaining patient records
• Support therapists, providers, and clinical staff with administrative tasks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous customer service experience required
• Medical front office, Patient Service Representative (PSR), healthcare, or insurance experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data-entry skills
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude

Schedule

Full-Time

• Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (open availability)
• Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
