We are seeking a professional, experienced, dependable Medical Front Desk Receptionist who takes pride in providing exceptional patient service and maintaining an organized, efficient medical office.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and professionally.
• Manage incoming calls, patient inquiries, and appointment scheduling.
• Verify insurance eligibility, including Medicare Advantage plans.
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and medical records.
• Maintain accurate patient demographics and documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Assist with patient check-in, check-out, and follow-up appointments.
• Support preventive care outreach and patient engagement.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Work closely with the physician and medical assistant to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medical front office experience preferred.
• Previous primary care experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Medicare Advantage insurance plans highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Athena Health EMR system is preferred.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent telephone etiquette.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
