Medical Equipment Branch ManagerA national leader in home respiratory and medical equipment services is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Medical Equipment Branch Manager to oversee daily operations at a home healthcare branch in Arizona. This role is ideal for a results-oriented healthcare leader with experience in DME, respiratory therapy, or home healthcare operations who is passionate about operational excellence and patient-centered care. Lead a team that makes a real difference in patients' lives while enjoying competitive compensation, bonus opportunities, and comprehensive benefits.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day branch operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and financial performanceLead, train, and develop a high-performing team delivering respiratory and DME services to patients in their homesBuild and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, physicians, and healthcare partnersOversee inventory management, billing documentation, and regulatory compliance (Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance)Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including revenue, expenses, accounts receivable aging, and service metricsConduct staff training, performance evaluations, and succession planningEnsure timely and accurate patient documentation, including Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMNs)Collaborate with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic objectivesParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and accreditation compliance effortsAssist with deliveries, on-call coverage, and patient support as business needs requireRequired QualificationsProven experience in healthcare operations or management, preferably in DME or respiratory servicesStrong knowledge of insurance reimbursement, billing practices, and regulatory complianceDemonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environmentHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid driver's license with a clean driving recordPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Experience in home medical equipment (HME), home health, or healthcare operationsFamiliarity with medical billing, insurance reimbursement, and healthcare regulationsBackground in healthcare administration or medical record managementMinimum of 4 years of related experienceWorking knowledge of medical terminologySkills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectivelyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationStrong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentTechnical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Comfortable using email, internet tools, and standard office equipmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and transport medical equipment as neededAbility to sit, stand, walk, talk, and listen for extended periodsClose vision required for reading screens and documentationMay be required to drive a company vehicle and participate in on-call rotationsEmployment RequirementsSuccessful completion of a background checkDrug screening, as applicableValid driver's license with a clean driving recordKavaliro provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
