Job Title
Pay Range: $43.05hr - $48.05hr
Requirement/Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in XX, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in editorial, copyediting, or medical communications preferred.
- Strong knowledge of editorial style guides and digital publishing standards.
- Experience working within regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharma, medical education) is a plus.
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and fact-checking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems (CMS); experience with Workfront or similar project management tools preferred.
Responsibilities
- Edit research article and medical journal summaries for websites and eNewsletters.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with editorial standards.
- Conduct word-for-word reviews against client-approved or provided materials for digital assets such as email campaigns, landing pages, banner ads, and social media ads.
- Verify that all content is consistent with client-approved messaging and adheres to house style or client-branded guidelines.
- Review and confirm that all editorial changes from MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) review are correctly implemented.
- Curate and select medical articles featured on sites, in collaboration with contracted Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), for inclusion in eNewsletter campaigns.
- Perform final word-for-word comparisons and functional link testing on HTML versions of content to ensure they match client-approved PDF files and are error-free prior to launch.
