Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences in physical or biological sciences.
CMD (certification in medical dosimetry) or equivalent credential.
At least two years of experience in medical dosimetry.

Experience

Knowledge of all phases of radiation therapy, including dosimetry.

Physical Requirements

Exposure to radiological hazards at occupational levels. Requires close eye work and hearing within normal range. Operates high‑energy accelerator, ionizing radiation equipment, and computer systems. Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing or pulling up to 250 lbs.

Safety

This is a safety‑sensitive position. The applicant must comply with the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy.

Job Summary

Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for radiation therapy treatment. Routinely assigns and directs staff responsibly.
