Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Medical Doctor is responsible for evaluating diagnosing and managing patients pain issues in accordance with the standard of care Essential Duties and Responsibilities Utilizes a multimodal approach to include but not limited to medication and interventional management physical therapy and bracing where appropriateExplains procedures or prescribed treatments to patients along with treatment goalsInterprets medical tests in the context of patient care and explains results to patientsCompletes all administrative tasks in a timely mannerMonitors patients compliance to treatment plan ie obtaining urine drug screens where applicableAdheres to company policies ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety environmental and infection control standardsMaintains patient confidentiality and complies with all federal and state health information privacy lawsRecords complete timely and legible medical recordsLiaises with other medical professionals related to patient careKeeps up to date with medical developmentsPromotes the companys core valuesCoordinates with medical assistants nurses and other medical staffEnsures all personnel and all patients are treated without limitation because of race creed sex or national originCollaborates with administrative team to optimize the Clinic functionalityAssists with marketing as neededMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societiesMentorstrains new medical staff ie Medical Doctors Mid Level Providers etc as neededChecks work e mail on a regular basis throughout the workdayParticipates in and complete all required trainings and in servicesPerforms other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Must possess and maintain current licensure as a medical doctor in the state in which services are performedMust possess and maintain a current DEA licenseMay be required to possess a current ACLS and BLS certification depending on regional requirementsMedical Degree MDDOMust have excellent written and oral communication skills including exceptional customer serviceMust have a proven track record of providing exceptional customer serviceMust be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors clinical staff other co workers and the publicMust be able to work individually as well as within a teamMust be able to follow both verbal and written instructionsMust be able to work a flexible scheduleMust be able to respond with patience and understanding during stressful conditions related to patient health and emergent situationsMust be able to multi task and prioritizeMust demonstrate extreme attention to detailMust possess strong organization skillsMust be able to problem solve and use reasoningMust be able to meet predefined quality standardsMust maintain and project a professional attitude and appearance at all timeMust have a working knowledge of the healthcare field and medical specialty as well as medical terminologyIf working in the ASC must provide proof of influenza vaccination annuallyIf working in the ASC must complete two 2 step PPD Must complete all regulatory competencies prior to beginning work in the ASCMust be able to effectively oversee manage and direct a team of clinical and non clinical professionalsMust have a compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at easeAll staff are expected to have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service; to comply with the rules and regulations of those organizations to which we are accountable; to have high ethical and professional standards of conduct; and to have an attitude of wanting to continuously improve their own professional performance

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications One 1 year of prior experience working in a Pain Management practiceOne 1 year of prior experience working with an Electronic Medical Record E MROne 1 year of experience within an Ambulatory Surgery Center ASC or performing in office procedures
