AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified, fellowship-trained Vascular Surgeon to serve as Divisional Medical Director of Vascular Surgery for AdventHealth East Florida. This full-time leadership and clinical role is based primarily at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, with oversight of vascular surgery services across multiple campuses. The position is ideal for a proven leader with strong clinical experience and a passion for program development, quality, and innovation.

Practice Info

  • Primary base: AdventHealth Daytona Beach, a 360-bed hospital expanding to 460 beds by 2026
  • Oversight of vascular surgery services across Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, DeLand, and Fish Memorial campuses
  • Lead a growing vascular team with support from cardiothoracic and other subspecialties
  • Report directly to the AHMG East Florida Executive Team and collaborate with system leaders and CMOs
  • 362-bed acute care hospital with a full spectrum of specialties
  • Recognized for excellence in cardiovascular care, neurosurgery, oncology, and more

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Divisional Medical Director of Vascular Surgery for AdventHealth East Florida
  • Balance clinical and protected administrative time
  • Support APP education, quality initiatives, and community outreach
  • Strategic planning and care model development
  • Physician hiring, retention, and mentoring
  • Quality metric oversight and clinical governance
  • Regional and national collaboration to elevate vascular services
  • Multidisciplinary team coordination across heart, lung, and vascular specialties

Requirements

  • Board Certification in Vascular Surgery
  • Fellowship-trained Vascular Surgeon
  • Minimum 3-5 years of vascular surgery leadership experience
  • Expertise in building high-volume, quality-driven programs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across service lines and practice models
