TK Health is seeking an experienced Medical Director (MD or DO) to provide clinical leadership and oversight for correctional healthcare operations in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership and clinical oversight for correctional healthcare operations


• Deliver direct patient care as needed


• Supervise and support advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs)


• Review and approve medications and complex treatment plans


• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements


• Collaborate with facility leadership, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams


• Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical practices


• Mentor providers and assist with complex clinical decision‑making

On-Call Responsibilities

Participate in an on‑call rotation as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• Active, unrestricted Oklahoma MD or DO license


• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related specialty


• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills


• Ability to pass a background check


• Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in Oklahoma (required)


• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty

Preferred

• 3–5 years of clinical experience


• Prior physician leadership or supervisory experience


• Correctional healthcare experience


• Minimum Of 3–5 Years Of Clinical Experience Preferred


• Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
