  • Lead clinical quality and standards at a full‑service small‑animal hospital offering advanced diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasound, and laser surgery.
  • Continue practicing medicine while shaping the hospital’s medical vision, protocols, and clinical excellence across the team.
  • Mentor and develop Associate DVMs and support staff to elevate patient care and team confidence.
  • Guide clinical workflow and case management within a collaborative, patient‑focused environment serving eastern Connecticut and Rhode Island.
  • Practice with owner‑level impact—set the direction for medical quality with strong operational support in HR, marketing, and administration.

Schedule

  • Full‑time or part‑time available, relief possible
  • Hours of Operation:
    • Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
    • Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
    • Saturday – Sunday: Closed

Compensation

  • Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Salary range listed is based on a 40‑hour work week.
  • This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalency program
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
