Medical Director – Pediatrics (Remote, U.S.)
This is a 12-month temporary contract position.
Location: Remote (must reside in one of the following approved U.S. states):

We are seeking an experienced, board-certified Medical Director with a background in Pediatrics to join our team. Responsibilities include clinical oversight, quality reviews, and collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical management programs
- Review quality concerns and assess care appropriateness
- Engage in peer-to-peer discussions with providers and stakeholders
- Participate in clinical committee meetings and develop corrective actions
- Support nursing and non-clinical teams on complex clinical issues
- Use data analysis to improve quality across provider networks
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with current, unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- 5+ years of clinical practice experience
- Experience with managed care, utilization management, or quality improvement (preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA, URAC, and healthcare compliance standards
Hours of Work:
- 8-10 hours on weekdays in the preferred time zone
- 2-3 hours on a weekend day in the preferred time zone
