Job Overview

Pediatric Neurologist – Medical Director, Pediatric Neurology Program at Valley Health System in affiliation with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The position is located at Valley Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical expertise in pediatric neurology at Valley Hospital and Kireker Center for Child Development (KCCD).
• Provide consultation and education for clinicians, clients, and community groups.
• Participate in Department of Pediatrics activities, KCCD, and hospital committee meetings as directed.
• Provide outreach to schools, childcare programs, parent groups, and other community programs.
• Collaborate with PM&R and Developmental Pediatrics teams to build and advance the program.
• Maintain a respectful, equitable, and inclusive work environment and advocate for gender equity and diversity.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree.
• Board certified in Pediatric Neurology.
• Eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA, and CDS.
• Experience with EEG interpretation is a plus.
• Maintenance of CME credit hours required for Board Certification and hospital staff privileges.
