PT/Contract Medical Director - Psychiatrist

Flexible Schedule

We are seeking a part-time/contract Psychiatrist Medical Director for a role at an inpatient facility a combination of clinical leadership and direct patient care.

Overview

• Medical Director functions - chair medical executive committee meeting, pharmacy and therapeutics committee meeting, be available for any questions about a policy, or other administrative questions that might come up; be available for any state or accreditation audits.
• Admissions have to be signed off on by MD within 24 hours of admission.
• 20% of charts need to be signed off on
• Chemical and physical restraint authorization
• Physician-owned and operated organization.
• Competitive compensation.
• Flexibility: PT 1099 contractor opportunities available.
• Ability to focus on the patient - not office management, including credentialing, licensure, billing, and collections.

Requirements

• Active Unrestricted Medical License in the State of Missouri or ability to obtain.
• Active DEA in Missouri or ability to obtain.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist.
