Description
As a Medical Director for Access Medical Clinics (AMC), you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical care services within the long‑term care facility. The Medical Director collaborates with administration, nursing leadership, and attending providers to ensure delivery of high‑quality, compliant, and patient‑centered care consistent with federal and state regulations.
Compensation for this role will include a monthly stipend plus a pay per visit model.
Requirements
Qualifications
- MD or DO with active state medical license
- Board certification in geriatric, family or internal medicine
- Experience in geriatrics, post‑acute, or long‑term care
- Knowledge of CMS and LTC regulatory requirements
Typical Time Commitment
- 4 hours per month per facility for administrative duties
- On‑site presence expectations once weekly for rounding on acute care and long‑term care patients. Approx. 2 hours per week.
- Participation in QAPI and leadership meetings
- Availability for consultation
