We are currently seeking a full-time Site Medical Director for clinical services provided to the Maryland incarcerated population at Maryland Correctional Institution - Hagerstown (MCIH) in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Compensation

US$300,000 with US$25,000 Sign‑on Bonus

Responsibilities

• Clinical direction needed and direct patient care to meet the service delivery requirements of assigned site
• Supervision and evaluation of medical services for pre-trial or incarcerated populations
• Clinical supervision for medical staff
• Chair or participation in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Control and Pharmacy and Therapeutics
• Interfacing with agency clinical and administrative leadership on issues related to medical services
• Close collaboration with onsite providers and nursing staff in the provision of healthcare services to pre-trial and incarcerated populations

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
• Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required
• Board certification/eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine required
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
• Leadership experience preferred
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check
