Overview
Crossroads Veterinary Clinic, a CareVet partner, is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to lead our practice as Medical Director. Our Medical Directors spend 90+% of their time practicing medicine. This position offers a six‑figure salary plus production, clinical support, and work/life balance.
Job Summary
The Medical Director is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance related to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Medical Director creates an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered.
In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Medical Director is responsible for the financial performance and general operations of the hospital under the guidance of CareVet leadership. Both Hospital Manager and Medical Director cultivate a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Base Pay Range: $120,000-135,000 plus production and sign‑on bonus

- Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure regarding animal wellbeing
- Strong fondness and understanding of animals
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of animal behavior
- Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research, and surgery of animals
