Medical Director / Attending Physician

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide exceptional care across local skilled nursing facilities in Springfield, Missouri. This part-time opportunity offers outstanding scheduling flexibility, a collaborative practice environment, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of post-acute and long-term care patients. As the attending physician, you will partner with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care while providing clinical leadership and oversight within assigned facilities.

Practice Info

• Serving local skilled nursing facilities
• Current facility opportunities in Columbia, Doniphan, St. Charles and Strafford, Missouri
• Additional facility opportunities nationwide in Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight within assigned facilities

Compensation

• Exceptional compensation with earning potential exceeding industry benchmarks

Shift & Schedule

• Part-time schedule
• Physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week
• No fixed daily start or end times
• No call responsibilities
• No overnight shifts
• 18 - 25 visits per day

Requirements

• Active MD or DO, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible: FM, IM, Geri, PM&R & ED
• Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
