Job TitleMedical Coding SpecialistJob DescriptionWork Schedule:100% FTE, day shift role, Monday - Friday 7am - 3 pm Central. In lieu of a medical coding education, an active coding certification is required.

Required Graduate of a Health Information Technology program. PreferredWork ExperienceTwo years of progressive inpatient facility coding experience. RequiredTwo or more years of inpatient facility coding experience in an Academic Medical Center and/or Level 1 Trauma Center.

PreferredLicensure and CertificationsCertified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC).
