Medical Coding Manager

Managing medical coding operations, the full-time Medical Coding Manager will ensure accurate and compliant coding of medical records, oversee and train staff, and implement coding policies while working remotely during standard office hours. Key responsibilities Execute coding and charge capture strategies to align with organizational goals Oversee team performance, conduct assessments, and support individual development objectives Ensure customer satisfaction by improving the quality of coding services provided by the team Required qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalency) with 6 years of related work experience, or a master's degree (or equivalency) with 4 years of related work experience 6 years of experience leading and directing a team to meet organizational objectives 7 years of coding, clinical, or billing experience with knowledge of regulatory reimbursement rules AAPC or AHIMA certification required Proven experience leading in a remote work environment
