Key responsibilities: Utilize Master Billing Guides to review PCR for medical necessity and appropriate coding Complete the billing quality scrub process and maintain billing accuracy scores Participate in daily Billing team huddles and manage claims in compliance with internal policies Required qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of EMS Billing experience preferred Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) certification preferred Demonstrated ability or willingness to attain QMC Biller Certification upon employment Strong knowledge of EMS billing rules and health insurance payor groups
