Medical Billing Representative

To support the revenue recovery process, the part-time Medical Billing Account Representative will prepare and submit insurance claims, make outbound calls to collect payments, and manage account issues while working remotely with a preferred local candidate from the Chicagoland area. Key responsibilities Make outbound calls to collect, post, and manage account payments Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies, both electronically and manually Identify and resolve patient billing issues and establish payment plans Required qualifications Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred 3 to 5 years of experience in medical billing and collections Knowledge of HIPAA and FDCPA regulations Experience with medical coding, billing, and third-party billing procedures High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or higher preferred
