Key Responsibilities
Claims Management
- Oversee the submission of clean and timely insurance claims
- Identify and address rejected, denied, or unbilled claims
- Monitor claim aging reports and improve collection timelines
Team & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Manage a team of billing and A/R staff and ensure departmental efficiency
- Collaborate with the finance team to maintain accurate records
Compliance & Operations
- Maintain compliance with billing regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical billing, preferably within the medical supply industry
- Familiarity with EMR systems; Brightree experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of insurance terminology, claim workflows, and A/R processes
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a small team and implement efficient billing practices
