Medical Billing Apprentice

To gain practical skills in medical billing and accounts receivable, motivated individuals will participate in a 4-week, fully remote Medical Billing Apprentice program, which includes hands-on training, shadowing experienced professionals, and exposure to day-to-day operations in a healthcare environment. Key responsibilities Participate in guided training sessions and shadowing opportunities within the Accounts Receivable Resolution team Learn the operations of various Revenue Services departments, including Registration, Coding Services, and Patient Services Complete a comprehensive orientation to develop foundational skills in revenue cycle management Required qualifications Familiarity with medical billing, revenue cycle, or clinic settings, focusing on accounts receivable follow-up and claims resolution Pursuit of a business degree with a demonstrated interest in healthcare administration is preferred High proficiency in MS Office products Professional verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
