Medical AssistantQualified candidates must be able to perform various duties that may include: greeting patients, entering new patient information, checking patients in and out, verifying insurance coverage, answering telephones, scheduling appointments on the computer, collecting co-payments, assisting with procedures, cleaning and stocking rooms, refills, pre-certs, rooming patients, scheduling procedures, lab work, EHR charting, and various clinical duties as needed.Job Requirements:Applicants must have a Medical Assistant diploma, certification, or graduate transcript. NextGen EHR and previous work with an interventional pain medicine office are a plus. Excellent people and telephone skills and familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding, and knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, and various insurance plans.
You must have excellent typing and math skills, ten-key by touch, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. NextGen EPM/EMR experience is A+.Monday - Thursday 8:00am-5:00pmFriday 8:00am-12:pmSalary: $19-$22
