Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support clinicians in our STI Clinic and help prevent the spread of communicable diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms and assist with patient flow.
- Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, injections, and routine clinical procedures.
- Record patient histories, document care in electronic medical records (EMR), and assist providers during examinations.
- Support diagnostic testing, patient education, and follow-up documentation.
- Receive and document laboratory results while maintaining accurate patient records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
- At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience , including venipuncture and administering injections or vaccines.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- National Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred. xzgxqkn
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Arizona driver’s license by the time of hire.
