Medical Assistant – Pediatric Office (Monday–Thursday)

Location: Inwood, NY
Schedule: Full-Time – Monday–Thursday, 8am–5pm (Fridays off)
Pay: $21–$24 per hour

MedStaff Group is recruiting a reliable, patient-focused Medical Assistant for a busy pediatric office in Inwood, NY (Long Island). This role supports one of the practice's providers on a consistent four-day weekday schedule – every Friday off, no evenings, no weekends.

The Medical Assistant will room patients, assist the provider, and support the daily workflow of a fast-paced pediatric practice while providing a warm experience for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist the provider during visits.
• Take vitals and document patient information.
• Prepare exam rooms and medical equipment.
• Assist with pediatric procedures, immunizations, and point-of-care testing as needed.
• Communicate clearly and warmly with parents and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.

Qualifications

• Medical office experience working with children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced pediatric environment.
• Reliable and punctual for the Monday–Thursday schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant.
• eClinicalWorks (ECW) experience.
• Spanish speaking – a plus, not required.

Compensation: $21–$24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
