Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team! As a Medical Assistant, you will prepare for each patient visit by organizing charts and notes, support nurses and medical staff with routine tasks, and assist in tracking tests and lab reports to ensure timely delivery and patient updates. You will also manage medical supplies inventory, set up testing equipment, and maintain cleanliness of instruments and rooms. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in the medical environment, and prior office experience.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare for patient visits by organizing charts and setting up medical equipment.
2. Clean instruments and equipment after procedures.
3. Answer phone calls and address questions regarding medical issues, identifying needs for visits.
4. Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical procedures.
5. Track lab results, manage prescriptions, and perform basic office duties.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
