Our Core values are the foundation for everything we do as an organization.Our Core Values are:Grow TogetherSeize Opportunity from StruggleOutcome Over EgoCommitment to ServeDo The Right ThingWhat your responsibilities will be as a Medical Assistant:Proper intake of the patient (history and chief complaint)Documenting during the exam on our EMR systemAssisting with Medical Procedures such as removing sutures, administering local anesthetic, and applying patches for allergy testing and transcribing reaction strengthsDeliver patient education and documentation on disease, wound care, medications, and pathology Reports and diagnosis.Properly conducting Prior authorizations for medications/sending medications to pharmacy as prescribed by ProviderSchedule follow up appointments at the end of each examResponding timely to messages sent by patients to you or the team (24 hours)Ensuring start of day/end of day tasks are completedCompleting all duties in accordance with HIPAA and other medical regulationsOther duties as assignedWhat we look for:Prior Dermatology experience preferred!
This will be a more surgical setting vs general DermatologyCandidate must be flexible and open to change (schedule fluctuates based on Mohs schedule)EMR experience and fluent in a variety of software packagesGraduate of an approved school or at least 1 year of Clinical Medical Assistant experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOrganization, punctuality, professionalism and a presentable, polished appearanceEagerness to grow and learn with the companyThe ability to work in a fast pace team environment and being able to adjust to different Provider's styles and preferencesDedication and compassion to patients and being able to deliver exceptional customer serviceMust be flexible with traveling to Sparks, MD, Hanover and York, Pa to assist the Provider in MOHS procedures based on the Providers schedule for the weekWe do not require Certification for our Medical Assistant's
