Job Summary
Busy multi-location primary care practice seeking a Certified Medical Assistant / Receptionist with strong clinical and front-desk experience. This is a hands-on role requiring confidence in procedures and daily patient flow.
Responsibilities
- Phlebotomy (required)
- EKG, spirometry, and ABI testing
- Room patients, take vitals, assist providers
- Insurance verification and eligibility checks
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Obtain prior authorizations for medications and testing
- Accurate documentation in eClinicalWorks (eCW)
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – required
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Experience with EKG, spirometry, and ABI
- eClinicalWorks experience required
- Knowledge of insurance verification and prior auths
- Reliable, organized, and punctual
- Ability to commute between Manhattan and Forest Hills
