Job Title: Medical Assistant (Integrative / Functional Medicine Practice)
Location: In-person
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18-$23/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview
We're looking for a reliable, compassionate, and coachable Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-moving environment while maintaining a calm and centered presence. This role blends clinical and administrative responsibilities and is ideal for someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and passionate about whole-person care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, intake, and medication administration (as directed)
* Prepare patients for exams and procedures with clarity, empathy, and professionalism
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR systems
* Assist providers during procedures and clinical workflows
* Support patient flow, scheduling, and coordination of care
* Perform administrative tasks including chart prep, follow-ups, and basic coding support
* Collaborate with the care team to deliver a high-quality, cohesive patient experience
* Respond to urgent situations appropriately, including BLS if needed
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a clinical setting (primary care, urgent care, or similar preferred)
* Strong working knowledge of EHR systems
* BLS certification (required)
* Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
* Experience with ICD coding (preferred but not required)
* Interest in or experience with functional/integrative medicine (highly preferred)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to stay organized and grounded in a fast-paced environment
