Medical Assistant - Edge
Are you passionate about health and wellness? Edge is seeking a Medical Assistant who will not only support our clinical operations but also inspire patients by modeling a healthy lifestyle. This role is ideal for someone with strong front and back office experience , an outgoing personality , and the ability to remain professional and compassionate at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet patients warmly and professionally
* Answer phones, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate records
* Perform basic clerical duties such as filing and documentation
* Administer injections and assist with basic clinical procedures
* Support in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment
* Work collaboratively with providers and staff to ensure excellent patient care
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* High School diploma or GED required
* Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
* Bilingual Spanish/English
* Previous experience in a medical office strongly preferred
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Skilled at following written protocols and oral instructions
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Must pass a background check
