SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Special Education Director and MIPS Coordinator, the Medicaid Specialist manages the Medicaid claim program for special education services. Coordinate a high volume of data including student Individualized Education Programs, Individualized Education Program compliance for Activities of Daily Living (ADL), and provider information. Provide training to providers and monitor participation in required Medicaid procedures. Serves as the primary point of contact for all Medicaid program activities alongside the MIPS Coordinator.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field AND One (1) year of experience in administrative/clerical duties OR Five (5) years of experience or knowledge of administrative/clerical duties
- One (1) year of experience or knowledge of special education
- Proficient using Synergy database, and spreadsheet programs
- Verbal and written communication skills in English and demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions
REQUIREMENTS B START DATE
- FBI fingerprint background check
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
