Medicaid Specialist Assistant Knox County - Part-TimeAllure HCS, a leading provider of skilled nursing and healthcare services, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medicaid Support Specialist to join our Corporate Medicaid team. As a Medicaid Specialist Assistant, you will provide on-site support within one of our skilled nursing facilities, Illinois, ensuring timely Medicaid processing for residents.Responsibilities:Review daily facility census for residents requiring Medicaid eligibility reviewIdentify Medicaid-eligible admissions and notify the Corporate Medicaid Specialist to ensure timely admission into the Illinois MEDI systemPrint and organize resident face sheets and supporting documentation as neededReview Illinois Medicaid verification requests and determine which required documents are available and which must still be obtainedCommunicate professionally with facility staff, residents, families, and outside agenciesContact Powers of Attorney (POA), responsible parties, family members, or other authorized representatives to obtain required documentationAssist with monthly reporting and ongoing follow-up to help ensure Medicaid coverage remains current across assigned facilitiesSupport Business Office Managers with annual Medicaid redeterminations and related documentation as neededMaintain accurate records while protecting confidential resident informationPerform additional duties as assignedRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility requiredBasic knowledge of Illinois Medicaid eligibility and terminology requiredStrong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail with consistent follow-throughAbility to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlinesAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a teamSelf-motivated with the flexibility to adapt to changing workflow and departmental prioritiesWhat We Offer:Ongoing training and continued developmentOpportunity to learn and grow within Corporate Medicaid operationsSupportive team environment focused on resident advocacy and quality outcomesThis is a part-time position (24 hours per week) and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical insurance or retirement benefits.Salary: $40,000-$50,000 AnnuallyJoin Our Team:If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, please apply to this exciting part-time Medicaid Specialist Assistant role in Knox County, Illinois.Apply Now:To apply, please submit your application through our online portal.
