Managing moderately complicated insurance denials and underpayments, the full-time Medicaid Recovery Analyst will utilize the Rubixis AR Follow Up software to resolve payment issues while working remotely. Key responsibilities Analyze and resolve insurance payment discrepancies, ensuring compliance with billing regulations Collaborate with leadership and team members to identify trends and develop solutions for denials and underpayments Document all research outcomes and maintain accurate records of account statuses in the system Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in healthcare insurance billing, follow-up, and collections Strong knowledge of Medicaid payer rules and the ability to interpret denial reasons Familiarity with HIT systems such as EPIC or Paragon Intermediate to advanced understanding of insurance billing and reimbursement processes Basic understanding of medical billing terminology, including CPT and ICD codes
