Medicaid Data Subject Matter Expert

To support federal healthcare clients, the remote Medicaid Data Subject Matter Expert will leverage expertise in healthcare data and Medicaid policy to conduct advanced analytics, develop actionable insights, and improve program outcomes. Key responsibilities Research best practices and develop recommendations for enhancing Medicaid and CHIP programs Perform business analysis on Medicaid data sets, providing interpretation and insights through statistical techniques Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce ad hoc reports and training content, ensuring high-quality documentation and communication of findings Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field Minimum of eight years of professional experience, including four years with healthcare data or analytics Experience analyzing large healthcare datasets, including Medicaid claims and T-MSIS Analytic Files (TAF) Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies, such as regression analysis and predictive modeling Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, or similar data processing tools for analyzing unstructured data
