Medicaid Business Consultant

• Support strategic planning, portfolio management, and execution of Medicaid initiatives
• Provide visibility into divisional initiatives and support prioritization and resource planning
• Evaluate business impacts and partner with stakeholders to align and coordinate strategic work
• Translate business needs into actionable plans
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and support implementation of complex initiatives
• Develop business cases, portfolio reports, dashboards, presentations, and leadership materials
• Conduct impact analyses and identify risks and opportunities
• Track progress across a portfolio of strategic projects and programs
• Work with leaders and cross-functional teams across the enterprise
• Use data to support informed decision-making in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years’ experience, or 7 years’ experience in business analysis, process improvement, strategic planning, research, project management, product administration, product operations, or relevant healthcare industry experience
• Project management skills, including strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to accept direction and feedback
• Experience interacting with personnel across multiple departments and organizational levels
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends
• Analytical and information synthesis skills
• Experience interpreting business and financial information
• Verbal and written communication and organization skills
• Experience managing changing assignments and priorities
• PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office products
