Managing moderately complicated insurance denials and underpayments, the full-time Medicaid AR Recovery Analyst will utilize Rubixis AR Follow Up software to resolve payment issues, analyze billing and collections, and document outcomes, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities Work an assigned number of accounts from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution Call healthcare insurance companies to address contract or payment inquiries and analyze billing compliance Document research outcomes and escalate issues to senior staff as needed Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in healthcare insurance billing, follow-up, and collection Knowledge of Medicaid payer rules and ability to interpret denial reasons Basic understanding of HIT systems such as EPIC or Paragon Familiarity with medical billing terminology, including CPT and ICD codes Proficiency in MS-Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
