We appreciate the interest of all applicants, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Duties/Responsibilities:Collect and check in hard drives and cards coming in from all shootsBackup all incoming media following company protocolCheck cards and give detailed breakdown to ensure all media is accounted forIngest, organize, and sync/group footage for shoots (typically 1-3 cameras)Fulfill requests for company's archived footage for series teamsUpload documents and logs for each shoot for archival purposesSet up and confirm organization and structure of Avid projects per series or project specs Pull tapes/drives from storage (on and off-site) when needed for ingestEnsure all drives are properly labeledTrack ingest progress on designated spreadsheets and software per company or series workflows Assist other departments with their media needs when appropriateQualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skillsAbility to adjust to rapidly changing prioritiesExcellent multi-tasking skillsExcellent proactive problem-solvingExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlinesAbility to work well within a teamAbility to work under pressureSoftware Requirements:Windows 10 and upMacOS Mojave and upMicrosoft Office Suite (inc.

Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)Avid Media Composer and Avid NexisBonus:Spectralogic, Storage DNA, and/or other LTO system experienceAdobe Suite including Media Encoder, and BridgeExperience with different codecs and file wrappersExperience syncing and grouping footage/audioQualifications:Associates or Bachelor's degree in Video Production/Cinema Studies or Equivalent Experience1-2 years of Editing experience1 year of Avid Media Composer experience requiredUnscripted television experience preferredAbility to work business hours, swing shift, or weekend shift according to company needsPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a timeJupiter Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
