Media Technology SpecialistRK&K is currently hiring a Media Technology Specialist in Baltimore, MD. The Media Technology Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting the logistics of meetings and events. This position involves ensuring that all aspects of meetings run smoothly, from planning and setup to execution and follow-up.Occasional travel to RK&K office locations may be required to support conference room setup, meeting technology, and event logistics.Essential FunctionsMeeting Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending invitations, and managing RSVPsLogistics Management: Arrange meeting spaces, set up audio-visual equipment, and ensure all necessary materials are availableTechnical Support: Provide basic technical support for virtual and in-person meetings, including troubleshooting audio-visual issuesCommunication: Serve as the point of contact for meeting participants, addressing any questions or concernsDocumentation: Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other relevant documentsFollow-Up: Assist in post-meeting activities, such as collecting feedback and summarizing key takeawaysVendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and service providers as needed for equipment rental, and other servicesRequired Education, Skills and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentThree (3)+ years of experience working in meeting supportShure microphone systems, Microsoft Teams Meetings, Zoom conferencing platforms, Poly Lens device management, MTRoW (Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows), Mersive collaboration solutions, Poly X50/X70 video bars, Logitech Meetup conference systems, and Crestron room scheduling panelsStrong organizational and multitasking abilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBasic proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)Attention to detail and problem-solving skillsPreferred Education, Skills and ExperienceCertified Meeting Professional (CMP) or similar certificationAssociate degree in IT, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldPrevious experience in meeting support, administrative support, or a related roleVisa Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization.
