Responsibilities

• Provide operational and clinical oversight for a dedicated inpatient nursing team.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, department leaders, educators, and ancillary services to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
• Serve as a key resource and mentor for nursing staff while helping drive departmental goals and organizational initiatives.
• Oversee a fast‑paced inpatient environment caring for a diverse adult patient population requiring medical‑surgical and telemetry services.
• Lead clinical quality initiatives, staff education, competency development, and evidence‑based nursing practice.
• Support employee engagement and promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and patient‑centered care.
• Manage staffing and scheduling processes.
• Monitor departmental performance metrics and assist with operational planning.
• Partner with interdisciplinary leaders to promote patient safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.
