Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

NIKTOR LLC is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nurse who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and is flexible with floating responsibilities.

• Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
• Job Type: Contract
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Nights, 18:45 PM to 07:15 AM
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Coverage: Required
• Start Date: Immediate/ASAP
• EMR System: Meditech (preferred but not required)

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor and document patient status accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff.
• Float to other departments as needed based on staffing requirements.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and patient safety standards.

• Active Washington State RN License or Multi-State Compact License .
• Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg nursing experience .
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Current NIHSS certification.
• Completion of 6-hour Suicide Prevention Training (Washington requirement).
• Nursys demographic verification required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient care needs and float when necessary.

• Previous experience with Meditech EMR .
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
• Flexible and team-oriented attitude.
