Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT)Genesis10 is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) for a full-time position with our client. Pay range: $28.30 per hour, plus $1.00/hour night differential. This position is responsible for electrical and mechanical tasks on automated packaging and distribution equipment, utilizing working knowledge to troubleshoot and repair control circuits, electrical distribution systems, and preventive/predictive maintenance.Responsibilities:Promote a safe working environment by following all safety proceduresMaintain and troubleshoot all automated conveyor systems in the buildingLead and audit preventative electrical/mechanical maintenance proceduresPerform PLC control level issue diagnosis and maintenance (Allen Bradley)Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etcUtilize blueprints and schematics to perform maintenance safely and efficientlyCollaborate and build relationships with all levels in the organizationRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent2 years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls2 years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment2 years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures1 years of metal and wood fabrication1 years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading1 year of knowledge of electrical and electronic principlesProcedure-based maintenance experience (PM)Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordinglyDesired skills:Associate or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field2 years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical fieldExperience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standardsExperience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Knowledge of computer networking systems and infrastructureExperience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenanceAble to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.

Low voltage signal tracing and troubleshooting of logical devicesBasic ability to use Linux command line interfaceOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as New Journey employees will be considered for this position.
