Brunel is recruiting Mechanical Technicians to work in Hopkinsville, Kentucky with our major oil and gas client for initially 2 years contract.
Per diem is available!
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, compressors, motors, generators, conveyors, valves, hydraulic systems, and other process equipment.
- Align machines, motors, and driven equipment using precision alignment tools.
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and repair manuals.
- Operate forklifts and other industrial mobile equipment as needed.
- Follow safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma plus completion of a trade school or apprenticeship certificate or program.
- Working knowledge of pumps, seals, bearings, piping, valves, utility systems, and material processing equipment.
- Ability to perform laser alignment on motors and driven machinery.
- Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Ability to lift and move 50 pounds daily and up to 100 pounds periodically.
- Ability to work at heights and indoors and outdoors in an industrial environment.
