They will analyze equipment and process data to identify and develop improvements, assist in outage planning, follow up on equipment issues, and manage small capital projects, major repairs, and maintenance projects. Additionally, they will support process engineering.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Adhere to Arconic EH&S, quality, continuous improvement and other company policiesAct as direct support of the Maintenance OrganizationWork in tandem with craft employeesAct as a resource for technical guidance to manufacturing personnelRespond to trouble calls on a 24/7 basisAssist in the design of manufacturing processes and proceduresAssist in overseeing and executing downtime work on small and larger projectsAssist in justification of new equipment & ensuring that rebuilds and spares are sent for repairs or are orderedBe involved with continuous improvement initiatives of manufacturing methodsUse lean manufacturing tools and principles to improve work, actively support and participate in problem solving (5c's and 8 step problem solving)Interface with other manufacturing departments to address and resolve technical issuesAll other tasks and duties as assigned.Also note:This position will require frequent shift and weekend line/maintenance support. Travel can be up to 10%. This position is eligible for relocation benefits.
This role reports to the Maintenance Superintendent.QualificationsYou have: (required)High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institutionMinimum of 3 years of experience with Mechanical systems and controls utilized in industrial applicationsEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
