Mechanical Superintendent – Woodbridge/ Manassas, VA

Responsibilities

• Lead daily mechanical field operations and manage crew performance
• Oversee installation of HVAC and plumbing systems, ensuring quality and code compliance
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to maintain project schedules
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and General Contractors to ensure alignment and clear communication
• Identify field challenges early and implement practical solutions
• Conduct job site safety meetings and enforce company safety standards
• Track project progress, maintain reports, and ensure accurate documentation
• Represent VMG professionally with clients, partners, and vendors on site

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in commercial mechanical construction
• Proven ability to lead and manage field teams effectively
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, mechanical drawings, and specifications
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
