ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Mechanical Stress Analysis Engineer for our client in the Nuclear industry!
Perform structural joint configuration evaluation and optimization
Perform non-record evaluations of various configurations and joints to assess the benefit of modifications or evaluate alternative changes to employ
Work with component design leads and analysis engineers to evaluate specific component issues, perform analyses to ASME BPVC Section III code methods and allowables, and provide insights and feedback to design teams for action
Perform follow-on scope for preparation and/or Design Verification of ASME BPVC Section III, Division 1 and Division 5 stress, creep and fatigue analysis - HBB, HGB, and NF
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and expertise in ASME BPVC Section III, Division 1 and high temperature applications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant equivalent program from an accredited university
Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience. Experience level may be partially substituted for advanced degree depending on position relevance, PE desired.
