Mechanical Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical design and construction projects in commercial and industrial environments. The successful candidate will manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and subcontractors while ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction for HVAC, sheet metal, and piping systems. This role combines hands-on mechanical knowledge with strong project management skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLead planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical projects from pre-construction through close-out for commercial and industrial facilities.Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; monitor progress and implement corrective actions to meet targets.Coordinate design reviews, submittals, and shop drawings for HVAC, sheet metal, and piping systems; ensure compliance with codes and project specifications.Manage subcontractors and vendors, negotiate scopes and contracts, and monitor performance and quality.Perform site supervision and regular progress inspections to ensure work meets safety, quality, and design standards.Serve as the primary client and stakeholder contact; prepare project reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates.Identify project risks and opportunities; implement mitigation plans and continuous improvement practices.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.Support commissioning, system startup, testing, and turnover activities; address punch-list items and warranty issues.Mentor and guide junior staff and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, civil, and architectural trades.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum 5+ years of mechanical project management experience in commercial and/or industrial construction, with direct exposure to HVAC, sheet metal, and piping systems.Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and contract administration.Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC design principles, ductwork and sheet metal fabrication, and piping layout and installation.Familiarity with construction codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, local codes).Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills; ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients and stakeholders.Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality control, and problem-solving in field conditions.Professional certifications a plus: PMP, PE (Mechanical), LEED, or trade certifications in HVAC/sheet metal/piping.BenefitsCompetitive Base Salary: $110k - $140kLucrative BonusCompany Vehicle or Auto AllowanceGas AllowanceHealth/Dental/VisionLife InsuranceAD&DShort Term and Long Term Disability401(k)PTO/Sick LeaveHolidays OffFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
