Mechanical Project ManagerThe Project Manager will be overseeing a move from Portland to the Arlington Heights, IL facility. This will include planning, breaking down of manufacturing cells, documentation of all associated processes, shipping the cells, building them up, and then validation of the equipment. This PM will manage the movement of over 10 manufacturing cells – pilot builds, testing PPAP's that happen as well – organizing, monitoring, and modifying the setup for the new cells in Arlington Heights.Job Description and Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 10 years' Project Management or Project Leadership experience from concept to realization (large-scale, multi-million dollar projects)Manufactured large-scale, rolling action capex projects from start to finishExperience communicating to high-end stakeholders (COO looking for status updates)Hands-on experience with manufacturing and production capabilitiesCustomer-focus mindset with strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skillsSuperior planning and organization skills; ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlinesPreferred industries of automotive, power tools, or healthcareKnowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques in the automobile or commercial vehicle industry, preferredMicrosoft Project experience and efficiencyKnowledge of Quality Systems a plus (e.g.
