Mechanical Project ManagerWe are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical construction projects in the Lenexa and greater Kansas City area. This role oversees projects from planning through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $90,000–$140,000 annuallyTime Off: Immediate PTO, birthday pay, and holidaysRetirement: 401(k) with 3% fully vested company contribution plus discretionary contributionsInsurance: Medical with HSA, dental, vision, company-paid life and disabilityAdditional Benefits: Educational assistance after two years, Workflex policy, parental leaveKey Responsibilities - Commercial Mechanical Project ManagerManage HVAC, plumbing, and process piping projects from initiation through completionLead field staff and subcontractors while maintaining budget, schedule, and quality controlsCoordinate project scheduling, resources, and construction activities across multiple sitesTrack project financials, profitability, and change ordersBuild strong working relationships with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teamsQualifications - Commercial Mechanical Project ManagerMinimum 5 years of mechanical construction project management experienceBachelor's degree in construction, mechanical engineering, or related field OR 5+ years of mechanical trade experience or equivalent combinationValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordAbility to pass background check and drug screeningSolid understanding of contracts, budgeting, and safety compliancePreferred Qualifications - Commercial Mechanical Project ManagerPMP or CCM certificationExperience with commercial mechanical systems in healthcare, education, or industrial facilitiesProficiency with project management software and BIMKnowledge of mechanical codes, OSHA standards, and industry best practicesExperience with design-build and value engineeringPhysical Requirements - Commercial Mechanical Project Manager15–20% regional travel to jobsites and company officesAbility to navigate active construction sites and climb stairsOccasional exposure to varying weather and construction conditionsEffective communication in person, by phone, and in writing
