In the progressive and booming construction market, we're guided by safety, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.Across New York State our current notable projects include the NYCHA Boiler Projects, Brooklyn Jail, Port Authority Bus Terminal, SCA High Pressure Boiler Plant, Manhattan Jail.Extraordinary Projects Need Exceptional TalentDESCRIPTION:As a Mechanical Project Executive at WDF Inc., you will have the opportunity to:Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients, the design community, and organizations to enhance future business development opportunitiesDirect and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc.Oversee the activities of all the direct report entities Sheet Metal, Sprinkler, Plumbing & HVAC Pipe, Safety, and Accounts Controller.Develop high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoringEnsure regular feedback is shared with staff including timely completion of employee performance appraisalsEnsure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements on all projectsProvide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisionsOversee the development of the master project schedule and manage its implementationProvide oversight for budget and financial managementSupport and drive utilization of various WDF initiatives and technologiesOversee the administration of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) programDrive enforcement of safety protocols by the project staffMay perform other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, or related from an accredited institution plus minimum of 15 years' experience in the lead role on projects valued at 1 Billion or larger. Advanced degree preferredThorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principlesMust have knowledge of regional market and sales/closing skillsAbility to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project scheduleAbility to implement leading-edge technologies such as Building Information Models (BIM) and Lean to benefit the projectDemonstrated leadership and interpersonal skillsProven written and verbal communication abilitiesProficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite of programsMust have advanced presentation skillsOUR MISSIONWe build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.OUR VISIONWe strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
